Sunday, August 31, 2008 — The Stanly County Democratic Party will have a Get Out The Vote kickoff rally Sept. 6 from 4-7 p.m. at Market Station on West Main Street in Albemarle.
Local candidates will be on hand at 6.
The North Carolina Young Democrats 8th District Candidates Bus Tour will be making a stop with candidates Kay Hagan for U.S. Senate, Larry Kissell for U.S. House and Sen. William Purcell for N.C. Senate.
