Martha Bennett Thompson celebrated her 90th birthday Dec. 2 in the Trinity Baptist Church fellowship hall. Refreshments were enjoyed by many family and friends who came by to express their best wishes.
She was born Nov. 29, 1922, to Rev. J.C. and Addie Lee Bennett. She was married to Robert C. Thompson for 63 years and has three sons, Richard, John and Mike. She has seven grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren.
