Wednesday, February 13, 2013 —
Gary Rickenberg and Bonnie Pigmon announce the engagement of their daughter, Courtney Rickenberg of Davidson to Matthew Swain of Albemarle, son of Robert and Beth Swain of Oakboro.
Miss Rickenberg graduated from Appalachian State University in May 2010 with a degree in Family and Consumer Sciences Education. She is currently the Family and Consumer Sciences Cooperative Extension Agent in Stanly County.
Mr. Swain graduated from North Carolina State University with a degree in Animal Science and Poultry Science. He received his Master’s Degree from North Carolina A&T in Agriculture and Extension Education in December 2009. He is currently a Career Development Coordinator for Cabarrus County Schools. He also serves as the Volunteer Fire Chief for Endy Volunteer Fire Department.
The wedding is planned for April 20, 2013, at The Farm at Brusharbor in Concord.
