Tony and Karen Oettinger of Albemarle announce the engagement of their daughter, Sarah Cook Oettinger of Albemarle, to Jimmy Lynnn Edwards of Charlotte, son of Jerry and Gail Edwards of Marshville.
The bride-elect is originally from Albemarle. She graduated from Albemarle High School in 2002 and from Wake Forest University in 2006. In 2009, she earned her Juris Doctor from the University of North Carolina School of Law. She currently works in the Office of Legal Affairs at the University of North Carolina at Charlotte.
The groom-elect is originally from Marshville. He graduated from Forest Hills High School in 1998. In 2003, he earned his bachelor’s degree from East Carolina University. He currently lives in Charlotte and works for Cintas in Charlotte.
The couple plans to wed on December 8, 2012 at West Albemarle Baptist Church in Albemarle. They look forward to celebrating their marriage with their friends and family.
