Ella Milton Efird and Charles Robert Barrett, both of Norwood, announce their engagement.
Ella is the daughter of the late Lewis Ronald Milton, formerly of Oakboro and Vernie Carver Milton of Albemarle. She has two sons, Jeremy Lee and Jarett Lewis Efird, both of Albemarle. She graduated in 1980 from West Stanly High School and attended Stanly Community College. She is employed at Fiberon, New London in Inventory Control.
Charles is the son of the late Albert Junior Barrett and the late Mildred Kiker Barrett, formerly of Norwood. He has two children, Wendy Barrett Hanna of Locust and Shannon Charles Barrett of Greensboro. He graduated from South Stanly High School in 1975. He is employed with South Central Oil in Albemarle.
The wedding is planned for 3 p.m. December 8, 2012, at The Historical Shiloh Church in Troy.
A reception will follow at Carroll and Malinda Barrett’s home in Norwood.
