Tuesday, September 4, 2012 —
Cassie Davis of Ellerbe and Chad Morris of New London were united in marriage on June 24, 2012, at Morrow Mountain Lodge. Reverend Wayne Lisenby officiated the 3 p.m. ceremony.
The bride is the daughter of Donna and Danny Davis. Her grandparents are Bill and Larry Caulder of Ellerbe and Lula Bell Davis and the late Heath Davis of Peachland, N.C.
The groom is the son of Brenda and Phillip Morris of New London. His grandparents are the late Harvey and Louise Hathcock and the late Ardie and Vera Morris.
Maid of honor was Brynn Ussery and the bridesmaids were Savannah Pettet and Brittany Hargrove.
The best man was Phillip Morris and the groomsmen were John Hathcock and Cody Davis.
Madison Furr and Shelby Sides were program attendants. Honored guests were Betty Bowers and Pat Furr and special friends of the family.
The reception immediately followed in the Morrow Mountain Community Lodge.
On June 23, 2012, a rehearsal dinner was hosted by Phillip and Brenda Morris at Morrow Mountain Lodge.
Following a honeymoon cruise to Nassau and Freeport the couple is residing on Rogers Road in Richfield.
