David and Ellen Whitley of Albemarle announce the engagement of their daughter, Emily Margaret Whitley of Albemarle to Timothy Wayne Leslie of Albemarle, son of Thomas Leslie of Albemarle and Georgia Lamb of Richfield.
Miss Whitley is a 2003 graduate of North Stanly High School and will graduate from the University of North Carolina at Greensboro with a degree in Business Administration. She is employed at Stanly Community College in the Financial Aid Department.
Mr. Leslie is a 1996 graduate of Albemarle High School and is Installation Manager at Deeck Mechanical.
A wedding is planned for June 23, 2012 at The Lodge on Hatley Farm Road, Albemarle.
