Rodney and Pamela Mauldin of Oakboro announce the engagement of their daughter, Emily Rebecca Mauldin of Oakboro, to Matthew Donald Whitley of Oakboro, son of Donald and Denise Whitley of Oakboro.
Miss Mauldin graduated from West Stanly High School in 2008. She is employed at Hemby Children’s Hospital at Presbyterian, Charlotte.
Mr. Whitley graduated from West Stanly High School in 2003 and is employed by Cabarrus County.
The wedding will be at Ted Hinson’s Auction Estates in Oakboro on Saturday, September 15, 2012 at 6 p.m.
A reception will follow the ceremony.
