Tonya Poplin and Jeffrey Crisco were united in marriage on December 1, 2012 at Bethany United Methodist Church in Albemarle. Richard Clough Jr. officiated the 1 p.m. ceremony.
The bride is the daughter of Barbara Poplin of Albemarle and Kenneth Poplin and stepmother Sheila Poplin of Norwood. Her grandparents are George and Bernice Lyerly of Albemarle and Lois Goodman of Gold Hill.
The bride is a graduate of South Stanly High School and a student at Stanly Community College. She is employed at N.C. Farm Bureau Insurance.
The groom is the son of Mike and Susan Crisco of New London. He is a graduate of North Stanly High School and Appalachian State University. He is employed at Southern Comfort Cabinets and part-time at Lowe’s.
Matron of honor was Brooke Drake and Mike Crisco served his son as best man.
Following the ceremony a reception was hosted by family and friends of the bride and groom at Bethany United Methodist Church.
A rehearsal dinner was hosted by Mike and Susan Crisco at Bethany United Methodist Church.
The couple is residing in New London following a honeymoon trip to Oceanlakes at Myrtle Beach, S.C.
