Mr. and Mrs. Douglas Lee Furr of Stanfield announce the engagement of their daughter, Samantha Rosa Lee Furr, of Stanfield to Dustin Paul Rogers of Waxhaw, son of Ms. Paula Tilley of Waxhaw and Mr. Leonard Rogers of Waxhaw.
Ms. Furr graduated from the University of North Carolina at Charlotte in 2008 with a Bachelor of Science with honors in Biology. She is currently attending the University of North Carolina at Charlotte, graduating May 2012, with a Doctor of Philosophy in Biology.
Mr. Rogers graduated from Central Piedmont Community College in 2007.
A wedding is planned for July 14, 2012 at Providence County Club in Charlotte.
