Monday, June 20, 2011 —
Mr. and Mrs. Rod Fly of Tazewell, Va., announce the engagement of their daughter, Amanda Nicole Fly, to Chase Eric Pope, son of Mr. and Mrs. Lloyd Pope of Norwood.
Amanda is a graduate of Gardner-Webb University with a BS degree in Athletic Training. She currently is an athletic trainer for the Steadman Hawkins Clinic of the Carolinas and resides in Greenville, S.C.
Chase is a 2007 graduate of South Stanly High School and will graduate in December with a Construction Management degree from CPCC. He is currently employed at the Harris YMCA in Charlotte.
A wedding is planned for 6 p.m. June 23, 2011, at The Saratoga Springs in Mt. Pleasant.
