On Nov. 30, we celebrated the end of 25 years in business. We would like to thank all our past, present and future customers for their support.
Over the years, we have met many wonderful people from all over this country and even some foreign countries.
We have fed astronauts, professional singers, basketball and football players and race car drivers.
We have been featured in numerous newspapers, Southern Living magazine, N.C. Restaurant Magazine and in February of this year, we had three pages in Our State magazine. We have catered many weddings, anniversaries and 90th and 100th birthday receptions.
All of this has been a blessing to our family. Without the wonderful customers, none of this would have been possible, so we thank you all.
In this very uncertain economy, we have all had to cope with many unseen problems. Business in general is suffering, prices are higher and people are not sure what will happen. As we go into a new year, we pray everyone will have a blessed and secure future we will be here for another 25 years.

Applauding the commissioners
In response to the recent article by Brian Graves regarding Clean Tech, I think that our county commissioners should be commended for their stand against Clean Tech’s offering jobs in exchange for Alcoa to be relicensed to operate the hydro dams on the Yadkin-Pee Dee.

Budget tips
The government has a problem with the budget. Why? The Republicans and the Democrats blame one another. Why? Don’t they both spend the money? Foolishly.
