Discovery Place to Host Public Free Day Sunday, June 27
To celebrate the culmination of its 18-month, $31.6 million renovation, Discovery Place will open its doors to the public free of charge from noon – 12 p.m. Sunday, June 27, 2010. Premiering the same weekend is World Alive, the newest, largest and final exhibition in the Museum’s complete overhaul. Other recently opened exhibitions include Fantastic Frogs, Think It Up, Project Build and more.
Prior to opening the doors to the all-new Discovery Place to the public for the first time, the Museum will have a ribbon cutting ceremony. Beginning at 11:45 a.m., the following people will speak: -
