Thursday, June 24, 2010 — There will be an Owens- Harris family reunion meeting at 10 a.m. June 26 at Parkers Grove Baptist Church.

We invite all members to please come out to this meeting, which is of great importance.

Gospel

Extravaganza

Hope, Faith and Charity will present its First Gospel Extravaganza from 5-8 p.m. Saturday at the Senior Citizens Center in Albe-marle.

The program will feature St. Paul Missionary Church and New Generation Mime Ministry of Charlotte, gos-pel soloists, Erica Powell of Raleigh, Keshia and Lauren Russell of Statesville, East Macedonia Youth Choir of Norwood, violinist Qu-shawn Chadwick of Albe-marle, Southern Echoes of Wadesboro, and Parkers Baptist Church Choir of New  London.

Admission is a $10 donation.

First Baptist Church

On June 27, Rev. Ken-drick Palmer of First Baptist Church, New Lon-don will be the speaker at Hope, Faith, and Charity at 3 p.m. This is a Pledge Rally Program.

Again, the support would be greatly appreciated.

New Hope Church

Pastor Althea Harris and congregation will be at New Hope Missionary Baptist Church, Ansonville, at 3 p.m. June 27.

Truly this will be a joyous occasion. They are celebrating moving into their new church that God has blessed them to build. Please come and help lift up the name of Jesus.

We were saddened to hear of the passing of Lonnie Moore.
