The Uwharrie Running Club will host its ninth annual Turkey Trot Thanksgiving morning beginning at 7 a.m.
The event will start and finish at the YMCA Park.
The first 250 runners who bring three canned goods receive a free T-shirt.
Canned goods benefit Stanly County Christian Ministry.
