Neighborhood Food and Pharmacy present the 4th Annual Stanly County Winter
Wine Festival on Saturday, February 23, 2013. The Winter Wine Festival is held
at Market Station (100 Railroad Street) in historic downtown Albemarle from 12
noon – 5pm.
Experience several of North Carolina’s finest wineries and vineyards. This wine
extravaganza is open to the public; you must be 21 years of age to enter. Tickets
are $20 each in advance or $25 each at the door the day of the event. Admission
includes a souvenir glass, wine sampling, and entertainment.
Join other wine enthusiasts and experience a delightful afternoon in downtown
Albemarle at the 2013 Winter Wine Festival, an event that is sure to please.

Stanly Community College (SCC) Chorus will perform at 7 p.m. May 2 in Dennis Auditorium in the Kelley building on the Albemarle campus.

Red Cross launches ‘Heroes’ Campaign
The American Red Cross, Stanly County Chapter, will conduct its 10th “Heroes” Campaign with individuals who sign up to be Heroes for the American Red Cross by raising $1,000 for the local chapter.

Egg hunt at Locust Town Hall
Mission Baptist Church, Stanfield and First Baptist Church of Locust will sponsor a egg hunt at 10 a.m. March 23 at Locust Town Hall in Locust. Rain date will be March 30 at 10 a.m.
