Monarch will host its Third Annual Community Craft Show from 9 a.m.
until 2 p.m. on Saturday, Oct. 27 at its Stanly Industrial Services, 730
Greenwood St., Albemarle. The public is invited to attend.
Vendors from across the region will display unique handmade crafts,
beautiful wreaths, candles, Thirty-One items, purses, jewelry,
decorative baskets and much, much more – just in time for the holidays.
Candy apples, funnel cakes and hotdogs will also be sold. Organizers are
expecting a number of new vendors this year.
Proceeds from the sale will benefit activities and programs for people
with intellectual and developmental disabilities in Stanly County.
Admission is free, but a canned food donation is encouraged to benefit
Christian Ministries. The first 50 shoppers will receive a free gift.

Mission Baptist Church, Stanfield and First Baptist Church of Locust will sponsor a egg hunt at 10 a.m. March 23 at Locust Town Hall in Locust. Rain date will be March 30 at 10 a.m.
